I’m a Professor in the English Department at Eastern Connecticut State University, where I’ve taught since 2004. I specialize in (mostly) British literature of the Restoration and eighteenth century (ca. 1660-1800), though I’ve been known to venture outside of that territory in my teaching. These pages offer a bit of information about what I’m up to lately.

I’ve posted some links related to a presentation I gave at the 2016 meeting of ASECS here.

If you’re looking for my CV, it's available from the link in the sidebar to the right, under my picture.

You might also be looking for Eighteenth-Century Book Tracker, the site I edit.

If you’re a student at Eastern, you might have a look at my Teaching page, where you’ll find out about the classes I usually teach and find sample syllabi from past semesters.

If, by chance, you're looking for a pseudo-Classical pseudonym, you have come to the right place.

I sometimes put random bits and bobs of code on Github.

If you need to get in touch with me, I can be reached at:
